And here’s a fun clip about Glen Keane’s process for improving the animation on Tangled. He would draw over the shot as a reference for the animators so they could push the animation to be as good as it can be.

I’m so impressed by what Glen Keane added to Tangled. I feel like a lot of 3D animated films could benefit from that 2D design and sensibility. Then again not every 2D animator is Glen “Fucking” Keane so I would say the results will vary.

from D23 comes news that the Director of Tangled has announced they are working on Tangled Ever After, a Disney Channel TV special slated for next year

Kay…though if you hated the music blame the composer Alan Menken (who used to work with Ashman)

Glenn Slater was the lyricist.

actually i would blame Glenn Slater still, the music sounded fine, but it wasn’t very impressive and most songs weren’t that catchy. The only one i like is the one in the beginning.
